The American Society of Plastic Surgeons currently mandated that all members must operate in an accredited facility to ensure top quality patient care and safety. The cosmetic surgeons at the Straith Clinic voluntarily sought and received full accreditation more than ten years prior to this ASPS directive. The Straith Clinic has been unconditionally accredited since 1990.

William Sabbagh, M.D. and Lawrence Tong, M.D. are members of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS).   Enrique Sabbagh, M.D. is a Professional Associate of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. In order to become a member of the ASPS, a cosmetic surgeon must be board certified by either the American Board of Plastic Surgery or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Being board certified by either of these bodies signifies that the plastic surgeon has undertaken a multi-year accredited residency training program dedicated to plastic surgery of the face and entire body, and has passed rigorous written and oral board certification examinations. These two certifications are the only boards that are recognized by the ASPS. Additionally, members of the ASPS operate only in accredited medical facilities, adhere to a strict code of ethics, and fulfill continuing medical education requirements, including standards and innovations in patient safety. Our board certified plastic surgeons are a part of that extra measure of confidence you want in your health care services.  It's one more way for us to say that "We care about you."
