Botox® - the word has permeated our culture and social discourse for years now. What is it? A trade name for botulinum toxin A, the botulinum toxins block the signals that would normally tell your muscles to contract. If an area of your face can't move, it can't wrinkle! Restylane® - is a FDA approved, non-surgical facial treatment designed to slow and hide the effect of aging. Restylane® filler injections are composed of a clear hyaluronic acid-based gel that not only fills in lines and wrinkles in the face, but also adds moisture and lubrication to the skin, making it feel younger and more comfortable. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance found in skin and works to attract water. As our skin ages, hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin are gradually lost. The end result is volume loss, skin laxity, and wrinkles. Restylane® is used to replenish the dermal volume loss that allows wrinkles to form, integrates into the skin and binds water. The clear Restylane® gel is injected using a fine needle into the skin below the wrinkle and lifts the wrinkle out to the desired correction. Restylane®, also used for lip augmentation and acne scars, is injected directly into the facial areas of concern and into the lips for lip augmentation. The results are immediate, long lasting, but not permanent. For this reason, follow up Restylane® treatments are needed to maintain your results at 4 to 6 month intervals. Lip swelling, redness, and discomfort can occur and asymmetry may be noted during the first one to two weeks. Also, small bumps of Restylane® may be palpated at the site of injection. These bumps are not usually visible, but can remain for several weeks or months after injection before gradually blending into the skin.

Perlane® - an injectable cosmetic dermal filler that has been used to soften wrinkles and facial folds of patients across the world. Perlane® is also a popular filler for facial depressions, facial scarring, and deeper folds. Perlane® usually lasts 9 to 12 months

Juvederm® - an injectable, FDA approved gel is a "next-generation" dermal filler. The smooth gel helps to instantly restore your skin's volume and smooth away facial wrinkles and folds, like your "smile lines" or "parentheses" (nasolabial folds-the creases that run from the bottom of your nose to the corners of your mouth and lips). Juvederm® is made of hyaluronic acid—a naturally occurring substance in your skin that helps to add volume and elasticity. It takes only about 15 minutes with immediate results. Juvederm® filler side effects are usually mild lasting 7 days or less and with temporary injection site reactions like redness, pain, firmness, swelling and bumps. If you experience swelling at the injection site, you can apply an ice pack for a brief period. Our cosmetic filler professionals will tell you when makeup may be applied after your treatment. You should see an immediate improvement in the treatment areas. Most patients need one treatment to achieve optimal wrinkle smoothing, and the results last up to 9 months or more. Supplemental Juvederm® "touch up" treatments may be required to achieve and maintain optimal anti-wrinkle results.

Radiesse® - this dermal filler is an FDA-approved, “next-generation” filler that is setting a new standard for the correction of facial lines and wrinkles such nasolabial folds. Made of calcium-based microspheres suspended in a water-based gel, Radiesse® is injected into the skin through a simple and minimally invasive procedure giving you immediate, visible improvement of facial folds and wrinkles, and providing long-lasting and beautiful results. A small needle is used to inject the Radiesse®. When injected into deep skin, Radiesse® provides a matrix into which the body's own tissue can grow and add volume. Complications include bruising, nodule formation and infection. Radiesse® cosmetic injections have been shown to last for 9 to 12 months. However, individual results may be affected by age, skin type, lifestyle, and muscle activity. Some patients achieve an optimal correction on their first injection. For other patients, variability in the rate of tissue in-growth following reabsorption of the gel carrier may require additional injections to achieve an optimal correction. As mentioned, there may be some bruising after a Radiesse® filler procedure, but most patients return to normal activities the next day.

Fat Injections – fat harvested from the body and is purified before it is re-injecting into the facial area and lips for lip augmentation. The main advantage of lipotransfer, or fat injection, is that it eliminates the risk of an allergic reaction. Lipotransfer is a two step procedure. First, liposuction is performed using local anesthesia to collect the original fat. Fat is then injected into the face or lips, just below the second layer of the skin or into the muscle. Bruising, swelling, and redness are common afterward and usually last a few days. Variable results on how long fat fillers last are from 3 months to 3 years. Fat injections may be permanent. Patient will continue to age normally.
