Enrique Sabbagh, MD, is a Professional Associate of the
American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and is certified by the
American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. Sabbagh has over 40 years of
experience in cosmetic surgery and is on staff at Straith Hospital
for Special Surgery. He currently sits on the Board of Trustees at
Straith Hospital for Special surgery.
Dr. Sabbagh received his medical degree from the National University
in Bogotá, Columbia. He came to the United States to train in
plastic surgery under the mentorship of John Lewis, M.D., past
president of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) in
Atlanta, Georgia. He came to Detroit, Michigan, to further his
training with Richard Straith, M.D., of the Straith Clinic. After
being invited to join the practice, he developed one of the largest
cosmetic surgery practices in the Midwest and is known for his
gentle manner and precise surgical technique. During Straith
Clinic’s sponsored seminars he taught surgical procedures to over 25
residents who are now practicing in thirteen countries. He has
written numerous articles on cosmetic surgery techniques and has
been asked to lecture at national conventions of the ASPS.
