Straith Clinic Proves Dedication and Substantial Effort with Another AAAHC Accreditation
Go BackHere at Straith Clinic we are committed to meeting the highest standards for quality care and patient safety. For over 20 years, we have been acknowledged with AAAHC (Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care) accreditation. This means we have been recognized for holding a gold standard with our patients, clients, doctors and staff.
Accreditation by AAAHC means that our organization has undergone a rigorous inspection of its policies and practices against standards that are nationally recognized.
The AAAHC is a private, non-profit organization formed in 1979 to assist ambulatory health care organizations in improving the quality of care provided to patients. It accomplishes this by establishing, reviewing, and revising standards, measuring performance, and providing consultation and education. The AAAHC annually reviews its standards and revises current standards and adds new standards as required by the constantly changing health care arena.
The process of accreditation involves a self-assessment, which is then followed by an on-site review conducted by the AAAHC surveyors, who are health care professionals themselves.
AAAHC surveyors are volunteers: physicians, dentists, podiatrists, pharmacists, nurses and administrators who are actively immersed within the field of ambulatory health care.
Through AAAHC accreditation, you can be certain that Straith Clinic is committed to providing exceptional care and that it has demonstrated its commitment to an on-going process of self-evaluation to adapt and improve its care and services. This is a great honor to hold and we are proud of it!
