How is the surgery performed?
The endoscopic brow lift involves the use of a surgical telescope to elevate the brow muscles and smooth forehead wrinkles through small incisions made behind the hairline. The upper eyelids are revealed, and sagging brows are restored to an upright position. Endoscopic surgery is less invasive than the traditional open brow lift approach, and the scars are much smaller. Other brow lift techniques exist, but this type of brow lift is preferred by our board-certified plastic surgeons.
Who is a Candidate for Brow Lift Surgery?
Endoscopic brow lifts are typically best suited for patients who do not have deep horizontal lines across the forehead or a lot of excess skin on the forehead. Brow lift procedures can be performed alone or with other cosmetic procedures such as a facelift or eyelid surgery.
