What is Fraxel®
Fraxel® Laser is a safe, non-invasive treatment that is effective for all skin types. The treatments promote your skin’s own healing process. It stimulates your own collagen to produce a healthier appearance while replacing damaged skin cells with new, fresher, glowing healthy cells. Fraxel® Laser is best suited for wrinkles, sun-damage, acne scars, and surgical scars. Most skin types can benefit from Fraxel®, so men and women of all ages may be candidates if they wish to correct damaged and aged skin. The number of sessions needed will vary depending on the patient and the condition of the skin.
What to Expect
- Anesthesia – Topical anesthesia and cold air
- Length of Treatment – 20 – 25 minutes for full facial treatment
- In / Outpatient – Office procedure
- Recovery – Minimal 2 – 4 days
- Duration of Results – Variable, depending on number of sessions and ongoing skin care regimen
